The Shaman is one of Spydercos most capable and reliable folding knives. Now it is also a proud member of the Salt Series of cutting tools purpose designed for use in and around the water. The heart of the Shaman Salt is its broad, full-flat-ground blade to deliver an impressive synergy of toughness, edge retention, and superior corrosion resistance. It is paired with a handle constructed with nested, skeletonized stainless steel liners and contoured black G-10 scales. The liners form the foundation of the knifes high-strength Compression Lock mechanism, while the scales are meticulously machined with Spydercos signature Caribbean Bi-Directional Texture pattern. To complement the DLC-coated blade, this Shaman Salts liners, four-position pocket clip, and all other hardware are also made from ultra-corrosion-resistant materials and have low-profile black coatings.
